Mobile crushers are track-mounted rock-crushing machines that are easily moveable, allowing rock materials to be produced at any location required.
The primary benefit of mobile crushing plants is eliminating the transport of materials from the plant to the site by producing the materials onsite. Mobile crushing is a flexible strategy to avoid the set-up costs of a fixed plant if only a small portion of materials is required to be crushed.
The cost of undertaking mobile crushing can vary based on the quantity of materials being crushed, the type of material, and the project’s location. Mobile crushing costs usually include a mobilisation & demobilisation cost of equipment, transport, and an hourly and/or tonnage rate of material crushed, which may include variables such as fuel, operators, travel, accommodation when required, maintenance of the machine and consumables. Costing varies based on the project and it is advised to request a quotation prior to undertaking any works.
