2005
Southern Contracting Group’s story starts in 2005 in the small township of Lameroo. With only a bobcat and tipper truck to their name, Matthew and Bronwyn Ramke embarked on a journey to realise their vision of providing quality earthmoving services to the Mallee and Riverland Region.
In the years that followed, Southern Contracting Group delivered groundbreaking projects across diverse industries, including corporate agricultural clients, local and state government bodies, and the private sector. As their reputation for uncompromising quality and workmanship grew, so did the Ramkes’ impressive fleet of well-maintained equipment, heavy-duty machinery and skilled personnel.
Current
Today, SCG flourishes as a 100% family-owned and operated business and one of the foremost earthmoving contractors, servicing a range of states across the country. Southern Contracting Group continues to maintain a proud commitment to providing personalised, high-quality service and customer service that is second to none.
The Founders
Our Team
With over 40 staff, Southern Contracting Group have an extensive leadership team consisting of a CEO, Compliance Manager, Field Services Manager and Multiple project managers. With our experienced operators across a range of projects, working together to ensure that Southern Contracting Group provides an exceptional service.
